Arsenal close to signing £35million midfielder following bust-up with coach

North London giants Arsenal have been given a huge boost in their move for Sevilla star Steven N’Zonzi with the midfielder stating his career at the La Liga club is over.

The Sun have claimed that N’Zonzi, who has a £35million buyout clause, was involved in a major bust-up with manager Eduardo Berizzo during the club’s recent UEFA Champions League game with Premier League club Liverpool.

The report stated how the French star was heavily criticized by his coach. Commenting on the bust-up, He told France Football his future is clearly away from the La Liga side, Seville. He admitted that his only disappointment is the way it has ended.

The Sun also stated how the former Premier League star has been a long-term transfer target for North London side Arsenal.

It looks like Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is looking to reinforce the heart of his midfield department following the continued injury problems concerning Spain star Santi Cazorla.

It seems the French tactician does not foresee Welshman Aaron Ramsey as a long-term answer to his defensive midfield problems and would rather sign a conventional defensive midfielder to fill the space in the North London team rather than having to compromise Aaron Ramsey’s attacking freedom.
