Antonio Conte Set To Recall Loan Star After Stunning Form In Germany

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is considering to recall Andreas Christensen next summer transfer window from Borussia Monchengladbach, according to reports.

Reports have it that the 20-year-old defender could return to Stamford Bridge as Conte plans to bolster his defensive set-up as the likes of John Terry and Branislav are expected to leave the club at the end of the summer.

Chelsea were buoyed by the arrival of David Luiz from PSG on the transfer deadline day and has gone on to become a key figure in their 3-4-3 formation and the Italian boss is already planning a defensive reinforcements in the summer.

Christensen is expected to join the Blues next summer having impressed for Gladbach so far where he has been on loan for 18 months, helping them to qualify for the Champions League last season and has continued in emphatic fashion.

Former Blues boss, Jose Mourinho was criticised for not integrating youth players into the first team but it appears his successor, Antonio Conte has looked in a different direction as quite a number of loan stars could return to the Chelsea squad; duo of Charly Musonda and Kenedy were spotted in training following their return from their loan spells due to injuries.
