Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata will fancy a move to Chelsea over Manchester United, according to reports.
Blues boss Antonio Conte is said to be a keen admirer of the 24-year-old’s qualities and the player also wants to be reunited with the Italian boss who helped while at Juventus amid speculations over his future, as per Spanish outlet, AS.
The reports also claims that the Spaniard has received offers from quite a number of clubs in Europe, with the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham, Juventus, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmun all battling for his signature.
Morata has been a bit-part for Real Madrid since he returned to the club during the last summer window, after a successful spell with Juventus, helping the Serie A giants to several laurels.
It is understood that Zinedine Zidane is ready to cash in on Morata in a bid to free up space for potential signings next season after suggestions that the Frenchman is unimpressed with Morata’s style of play.
Jose Mourinho is also said to be actively searching for replacements for Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is currently on a long-term injury and has identified Morata as one of his possible targets next summer.
Chelsea have also been credited with interest in Everton forward Romelu Lukaku and Torino striker Andrea Belotti but Morata could be a cost-effective replacement for Diego Costa who might leave Stamford Bridge next summer.
