Paris Saint Germain (PSG) sporting director Antero Henrique has revealed that wantaway midfielder Adrien Rabiot won’t sign a new contract at the Parc des Princes.
Henrique made this known in an interview with Yahoo Sport.
He revealed that the young French midfielder has told the club that he wants to leave on a free transfer next summer.
Antero Henrique also revealed that Adrien Rabiot knows the consequences of his contract stance before adding that the 23-year-old would be frozen out of the PSG team.
He has scored two goals in 21 appearances for French giants PSG this season.
The young Frenchman has six months remaining on his current PSG contract and has rejected several contract offers from the French capital club.
Adrien Rabiot has been constantly linked with a move to both the Premier League and the Spanish La Liga.
The ex-Manchester City Academy player has been mooted as a potential signing for five-time European champions Barcelona as well as several Premier League clubs.
Premier League leaders Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have all been linked with the player.
Yahoo Sport claim that Adrien Rabiot is high on the list of transfer targets for the Reds ahead of the January transfer window.
