Liverpool star player Adam Lallana was seen indulging in light running on Thursday at training after a long spell on the sidelines as a result of injury.

Lallana has been out of action for his side since pre-season where he picked up an unfortunate injury in the Audi Cup tournament.

The talented midfielder is yet to play for Liverpool so far this term, and the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has definitely missed him in his squad.

Liverpool have been without a win in four games and even lost their most recent match to Leicester City in the League Cup on Tuesday.

Adam was one of the most important players in Anfield last term, and Klopp will want to have him back in his team as soon as possible.

Sadio Mane is out for sometimes due to a red card he received during their 5-0 defeat to Manchester City a few weeks back and Nathaniel Clyne is still recovering from his injury.

Liverpool trained on Thursday ahead of their next Premier League match against Leicester on Saturday, and Adam was pictured doing some running.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have already confirmed that the midfielder had returned to running for the first time since his injury, and the German boss confirmed during the week that he was making progress in his recovery.

Liverpool will hope to return back to winning ways when they play with Leicester City away from home on Saturday, before a trip to Russia for their next Champions League game next week.
