Serie A giant Closing In On Jose Mourinho’s Favourite Target

AC Milan are closing on a summer swoop for Manchester United target and Bayern Munich midfielder, Renato Sanches according to reports.

The 20-year-old has been frustrated at his lack of chances at the Allianz Arena since he moved there from Benfica, snubbing interest from United who have retained their interest in him.

Reports in reliable French outlet L’Equipe claim that the Portuguese midfielder is open to a move away from Bayern and AC Milan are offering him an escape route with a £35million deal.

United have also been credited with an approach for Sanches who has been a target for Jose Mourinho since last summer transfer window.

The youngster could not break into the plans of Carlo Ancelotti at Bayern Munich, making just 17 appearances last term that his chances might not increase at the club due to the arrival of Corentin Tolisso this window.

Renato Sanches has also hinted at a possible move to San Siro, when asked about his future he said:

“ I would like to play more that’s why I want to change and go to a club where I would play more.

“AC Milan is an interesting one. If the opportunity emerges and the clubs can agree, I would like to know.”
