Emerging reports claim that Italian Serie A outfit AC Milan have identified North London outfit Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi as a possible summer transfer target.
The San Siro outfit are keen on a new central defence and they hope that the Gunners man and Atlanta’s Timothy Castagne would be able to do the job ahead of the coming season.
Shkodran Mustafi has had a very mixed performance so far this season as the fans have got different thought on his ability as a player which leaves the decision of his move to the obvious- manager Unai Emery.
The 27-year-old has had an earlier spell with Serie A outfit Sampdoria which means the Italian league will not be a new experience for him as it is confident that he will blend well in the team.
Howbeit, there are calls from some section of the Arsenal fans for the sale of Shkodran Mustafi which means a deal to the Serie A outfit will be an answer to their prayers as they have not been convinced with his performance at the club over time.
Meanwhile, the Gunners team are expected to add more strength to their defence ahead of the coming season as a result of their inconsistent performance.
