Why Ozil does not deserve criticisms

German international and Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has been backed amidst the criticisms against him for his lack of quality performance in some of the games this season.

This is the stand of France international Alexandre Lacazette who explained that the former Real Madrid star remains a leader in the team despite all odds.

Mesut Ozil had a very slow start of the season and that is why he had a loggerhead with the Spanish manager Unai Emery but he is already improving in his form but the performance against Everton is still unacceptable.

Alexandre Lacazette noted that the star player remains a leader in the Arsenal team and he knows what to do to control all of the criticisms without showing any frustration.

However, the German international has been praised by manager Unai Emery with the manager claiming that Mesut Ozil is an important member of the team because of his quality.

There are therefore suggestions that the former Real Madrid player will now see more games under the former PSG manager having won his heart and he could yet find a space in the starting role when they line up against Italian Serie A outfit Napoli, later on, Thursday.
