Courtois Talks Up Real Madrid Move For Chelsea Star Again
Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is definitely not the toast of Chelsea fans at the moment after he talked up the possibility of Eden Hazard joining him at the Spanish club.
Courtois has not hidden his desire for Hazard to join him at Real Madrid.
The Belgian international shot-stopper is in his first season at Real Madrid after his controversial exit from Chelsea last summer.
With one year left on his then Chelsea contract, Thibaut Courtois forced his exit from Chelsea.
Spanish giants Real Madrid paid £35 to sign Courtois last summer with Croatian World Cup star Mateo Kovacic moving to Chelsea on a season-long loan deal as part of the transfer.
Real Madrid could make another raid on Chelsea for one of their best players with talisman Eden Hazard linked with the Los Merengues.
Thibaut Courtois had earlier addressed those Hazard transfer rumours to Real Madrid and he talked about it again in his recent interview with Spanish media outlet Onda Cero.
According to him, he’s not sure whether Real Madrid wants to sign his Belgian international teammate before adding that he would like Hazard to join him at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu ahead of next season.
Hazard has a little over a year to go on his Chelsea contract at the moment.
