Premier League Midfielder Flattered By Liverpool Transfer Links

Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Pascal Gross has played down the transfer rumours linking with a move to Premier League title contenders Liverpool when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

The German midfielder was previously linked with the Reds during the winter transfer window earlier this year.

In a chat with popular media outlet Goal, Pascal Gross said that he was flattered by the transfer links to Liverpool but his main focus is to help Brighton achieve their targets.

Pascal Gross has been a revelation since he joined the Seagulls at the start of last season.

The 27-year-old signed for Brighton after leaving German club Ingolstadt.

The Seagulls paid just £3m to secure his transfer.

He was a key player for Brighton as they escaped relegation in their first season in the Premier League.

Pascal Gross has not had the best of campaigns in his second season at the club but that has not stopped him from being linked with other Premier League clubs.

Apart from Liverpool, Pascal Gross has also been touted as a possible transfer addition to Newcastle United.

Pascal Gross has battled with various injuries this season and that has affected his output.

He has scored just two goals in 21 appearances for Brighton this term.
