Bayern Step Up Chase For Liverpool Target

German champions Bayern Munich have stepped up their pursuit of Borussia Moenchengladbach forward Thorgan Hazard.

Thorgan Hazard has been in sensational form for Borussia Moenchengladbach in the new season thus attracting interests from several clubs on the European continent.

He has emerged as one of the best players in the German Bundesliga this season after netting 11 goals and providing five assists for Borussia Moenchengladbach in all competitions.

Belgian international star Thorgan Hazard has been touted as a possible signing for clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Liverpool ahead of the upcoming transfer market scheduled to begin as from the 1st of January.

The interest of Bayern Munich was revealed by German publication Kicker.
The above-mentioned clubs were also mentioned.

Earlier reports had claimed that Thorgan Hazard has a release clause of €30m (£26m) in his current contract with Borussia Moenchengladbach and that Liverpool will make a firm bid for him to bolster their squad ahead of the second half of the season.

His contract at the German club does not expire until the end of the 2019/20 season.

Thorgan Hazard is the younger brother of Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard and they were together at Stamford Bridge from 2012 to 2015 before he left for Borussia Moenchengladbach permanently.
