Sarri reveals why he likes David Luiz

The same trait that sent Chelsea centre-back defender, David Luiz on exile under Antonio Conte is what Sarri Maurizio likes about him.

Yesterday, Chelsea defender and Brazil star, David Luiz showered praises on new Blues coach, Sarri Maurizio, disclosing that the Italian makes the Blues players happy to play football.

David Luiz added that Sarri has boosted the player’s confidence which is why they are performing well.

Coach Sarri Maurizio has replicated the likeness to the Brazil defender.

The Italian disclosed that he likes David Luiz because he is direct especially when he has something to say.

Sarri hinted that Luiz speaks directly to him on any issue bothering him.

Perhaps this is where the dissimilarity between Sarri and Conte over David Luiz comes in.

Unlike Sarri, former Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte had a fall out with David Luiz because the Brazilian is too direct and speaks the way things are.

This was the main reason Conte sent him on exile by refusing to give him any playing chances and went ahead to play Gary Cahill in his place.

The former Napoli coach in his statement further added that immediately he arrived at Stamford Bridge, David Luiz was one of the footballers he had a good feeling about.

He finally added that he likes him because he is a technical centre back defender.
