Liverpool finally settle star player’s signing this summer

Jurgen Klopp’s side have eventually wrapped up Bobby Duncan’s signing from Manchester City after paying the premier league champions £200,000 in compensation for the talented teenager.

Although terms have been agreed between both sides few weeks before now, it took a long while before Liverpool eventually arrived at a compromise with Man City about a compensation fee for the 17-year-old.

Bobby, who is related to former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, is trying to follow his cousin’s footsteps, and he is very much delighted to have become a Liverpool player after issues surrounding his compensation fee was eventually settled.

Yesterday, the striker took to social media to express his excitements regarding the development, and he confidently wrote: “Let’s Get Down To Business”

Before Duncan arrived Anfield, the duo of Dominic Solanke and Rhian Brewster are two young English forwards striving to break into Jurgen Klopp’s first-team.

Despite being talented, Duncan must work very hard to achieve the aim of getting into the first-team at Anfield any time soon. Sure, his uncle’s achievements at Merseyside should be more than enough to keep him motivated.

With Origi set to depart Anfield this summer, things should get easier for the youngster under manager Jurgen Klopp.
