Dani Carvajal Blames Jose Mourinho For Stunted Progress

Real Madrid star player Dani Carvajal has thrown some jibes at his side’s former manager Jose Mourinho for stunting his progress at the club.

Carvajal has evolved into one of the most important members of the Real Madrid team and was recently rewarded with a new and improved deal which tied him at the Bernabeu until 2022. There are also speculations that the release clause in his new contract at the club is close to a whopping £310million – which suggests how much value has been placed on him by the La Liga champions.

Having progressed through the youth ranks at Real, he was sold to Bundesliga side Beyer Leverkusen in 2012 and his departure was sanctioned by the club’s then boss Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese tactician managed Real Madrid from 2010-2013 and won’t hand Dani a single appearance while he was at Madrid.

The player however excelled in the Bundesliga and after just one term, and with Jose gone, Real Madrid exercised their buy-back clause.

And after putting pen on paper for his new deal at Real Madrid, the talented player made reference to how the current Man United boss was responsible for his year away from the club.

But as things stands now, the right back doesn’t look likely to be making another exit from his side anytime soon, with his release clause and love for the club set to keep him at Madrid for the long-term.
