Club set to test Arsenal’s resolve with a £60m offer for wantaway star player

According to reports, Manchester City will table a final £60million offer for unsettled Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.

City manager Pep Guardiola is keen on landing the Chilean before the summer transfer window slams shuts at the end of August.

The former Barcelona forward is in the final season of his current contract but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger remains determined that the Chilean won’t be sold this summer transfer window.

But as per the Telegraph, it won’t stop their rivals from trying to tempt the Gunners into selling and will offer the unsettled forward a whopping £400,000-weekly wage at the Etihad.

The 28-year-old forward missed the Gunner’s dramatic 4-3 win over Leicester last Friday through injury.

Sanchez is also a huge doubt for the away clash at Stoke next Saturday.

European big spenders Paris Saint Germain have also been keeping close tabs on his situation.

The Chilean fuelled rumour that he was set to hold transfer talks with the French side after spending time in the French City of Paris with his girlfriend and representative.

But the Parisians have reportedly cooled their bid following the world-record signing of Neymar Jr from FC Barcelona whilst also trying to tempt Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe to the Paris club.
