Good News To Chelsea – Star Player Finally Arrive London, Medical Underway

Transfer expert Jim White has revealed that Chelsea new man Alvaro Morata has arrived in the English capital and has begin his Chelsea medical.

Some hours ago, the premier league champions officially confirmed that they had agreed a fee understood to be around £70 Million with Real Madrid for the Spanish forward.

Alvaro had been on Madrid’s pre-season tour in Los Angeles and was due to fly to London Thursday morning.

Chelsea have been in the market for a top forward ever since their Italian boss Antonio Conte told Diego Costa at the end of last season that he is not part of his plans at Stamford Bridge next term, despite that Costa was the club’s top scorer in the title winning campaign.

They were strongly linked with bringing back Belgium international Romelu Lukaku to west London for much of this summer, but missed out on him to Manchester United.

Then they turned their attention to Alvaro, who was also initially wanted by Man United.

And popular football expert Jim White says Morata is edging closer to completing a move to Chelsea as he is now in London and a medical is underway.

He also tipped the striker to be a sensation at Stamford Bridge, and favours Chelsea to retain the premier league title.

Despite that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane prefers fielding Benzema ahead of Morata, the Spain international still managed to score 20 goals for the La Liga champions last term.
