After completing the signing of Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero following the expiration of his contract at Manchester City, Chelsea are yet to make another major signing this summer despite getting ready for pre-season training.

However, the premier league champions have been linked with a handful of top players who are expected to join the club anytime soon, including Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko. And journalist Dharmesh Sheth confirms that the deal for the Frenchman will be sealed ‘soon’

The Stamford Bridge club have been strongly linked with the France international for some time with Antonio Conte determined to significantly bolster his squad ahead of a busy campaign next season.

But despite all of the speculations, Chelsea are yet to make an official announcement about the completion of the deal.

However, speaking to Sky Sports, Sheth, delivering a recent update on the blues pursuit of Tiemoue, said Monaco’s boss Jardin has admit to be powerless to stop any of the big players from leaving the club and that talks continues with the Ligue I champions over Bakayoko.

Despite having a strong squad that was unstoppable last season, Antonio Conte is still keen on making new signings this summer as he prepares for a busy campaign next term that sees Chelsea playing in the Champions League once again and defending their premier league title.
