Wayne Rooney gives United the best manager solution

Manchester United are desperately in search of a new manager following the sack of Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho last year December.

It was becoming obvious that the former manager had lost his grip on the club which reflected in the way the players played and the result. The management were left with no choice than to show him the exit door.

The Red Devils immediately installed former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the interim boss and he has since impressed to win all of the seven games under his reign.

Nevertheless, the Old Trafford side are still believed to be in search of a new and high class manager who would take over at the club in the coming season with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not being considered for now.

The likes of former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino have all been linked with the North London side pointing to the North London boss as the perfect fit.

However, United legend Wayne Rooney believes the club should do all it takes to land Pochettino if they must return to greatness as he opined that the Tottenham boss has all it takes to make good success at the Old Trafford.
