Unai Emery receives heavy blow after damning reports surfaces

The claim by former Tottenham man and pundit Danny Murphy can be very damning to a manager like Unai Emery who is working hard to get Arsenal back to its glory days.

Since joining Arsenal in the summer from PSG, the boss has made a mark by ensuring a change in attitude for his players and it is glaring how players like Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi now display a character that was not seen some seasons back.

Moreso, it has been evident in the results coming from the Emirates Stadium with the North London side recording their 8 consecutive wins of the season.

Having lost their first two games against Manchester City and Chelsea, the Emery led team have won their five other Premier League games, recorded victory in the Carabao Cup and also saw two wins in the Europa League this season.

This has been good efforts by the Spanish manager and pundits have tipped his side to be strong challengers for the Premier League knowing that there are still many more games to go.

However, in his analysis of club who could end in the top four zones, Murphy failed to see the North London side as being worthy.

He had listed Manchester City, and Liverpool to fight for the first and second position while Tottenham and Chelsea are tipped for the third and fourth position.
