21-Goal Striker Sets Chelsea Target

Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham is determined to stay at Chelsea when he returns to the club at the end of his loan spell in the Midlands.

England international Tammy Abraham is on a season-long loan at Aston Villa having joined the English Championship club on the last day of last summer’s transfer window.

Tammy Abraham has set a new Chelsea target for himself as revealed in his latest interview with Sky Sports.

The Chelsea Academy graduate told reporters that his target is to stay in the first team having been sent on loan three times in the last three years.

Tammy Abraham has not had the chance to stake a claim for a first team shirt at Stamford Bridge.

His form for Aston Villa has, however, propelled his chance of having a career at Chelsea.

He previously spent loan spells at Bristol City and Welsh club Swansea City in the last two seasons.

Tammy Abraham has scored 21 goals in 32 appearances for an Aston Villa side pushing for a spot in the Championship playoffs.

The English striker was initially linked with an early return to Chelsea during the winter transfer window but he managed to stay at Aston Villa.

He also rejected a big money move to Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers during the winter transfer window in January.
