Revealed: Spurs In Pole Position To Sign Liverpool Target

Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur are the overwhelming favourites to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele according to widespread reports coming out of the media in France.

French international Tanguy Ndombele has become one of the most sought-after young midfielders on the European football scene in the wake of his impressive performances for Lyon in the last two seasons.

Ndombele is most likely to leave the club this summer with several clubs keen on his signature.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas recently revealed that the French club has received three offers for Tanguy Ndombele as he urged French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) to make a bid for him.

Tanguy Ndombele was previously linked with Premier League giants Liverpool but it seems the Reds are no longer in the running with fellow Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur said to be at the front of the queue for the player.

This is according to the report from French media portal Telefoot which claimed that Ndombele is ready to shun other suitors like Premier League champions Manchester City, Italian champions Juventus and the aforementioned PSG in favour of a move to Spurs.

The North London club have not been able to replace Moussa Dembele since he left the club for China in January and Ndombele could be the right man for the job.
