Liverpool Transfer: £137 million rated star set go on strike to push through transfer

According to media reports today, Unsettle Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is set to adopt desperate measures to push through his proposed move to Spanish La Liga giants FC Barcelona.

The Brazil international, last week submitted a transfer request, and the Catalan giant are speculated to be preparing a third offer of around £137 million for the Liverpool attacker.

Now Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo are claiming that the Barcelona target is determined to push through the transfer and has told Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp that he does not plan to play for the Merseyside club again, even if it means sacrificing his spot at next year’s FIFA World Cup for the Brazil National football team.

Barcelona are set to reinvest most of the £198million that they got from the sale of Brazil international Neymar Jr to big-spending French Ligue 1 giant Paris Saint-Germain into the team.

The Liverpool attacker has been heavily linked with a transfer to Nou Camp on and off for over a year now; the Brazilians form for his club and country last campaign only strengthened the thought that he could tread the path of Uruguayan Luis Suarez.

Even before Brazilian Neymar’s transfer, Sport reported last year there was frequent contact between the Coutinho’s agent and Barcelona, and the Catalan club now clearly see the Brazilian as a transfer target this summer.
