€80m Liverpool Target Favours Bayern Munich Transfer

Lille winger Nicolas Pepe is reportedly in favour of a move to German champions Bayern Munich this summer as the race to sign hots up.

This is according to the publication from the stables of The Sun which claimed that the Ivorian international player is ready to snub Premier League clubs in favour of a move to the Bavarian giants.

English top flight sides like Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are keen on a move for him.

Recent reports had claimed that Liverpool held talks with French Ligue 1 club Lille over a possible deal for Pepe.

The player is one of the hottest properties on the transfer window this summer after a stellar season for Lille.

Senior club officials have already confirmed that they will sell him during this summer’s transfer window.

Nicolas Pepe has been an important player for Lille since joining them two years ago and his form has led the French club back to the Champions League for next season.

He was the key player for Lille as they finished the season in second place on the French Ligue 1 table just behind champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

€80m-rated Pepe scored 23 goals in all competitions for Lille and it is not surprising that several clubs are on his trail this summer.
