Mourinho: I’m So Impressed By This Superstar

United coach Jose Mourinho has shown his delight with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s recent form at the Old Trafford.

Ibrahimovic joined the red devils as a free agent in July, and after appearing in 25 games he has scored 16 goals.

His teammates had spoken well of him, expressing his impact on the younger guys- both on the pitch and off.

Speaking ahead of the game against Sunderland, Jose Mourinho heaps lots of praises on the Swedish legend.

“He will end his career on a high, which is amazing,” he said.“He’s not ending it in America or China; he’s ending it on the top of the top. I’m really pleased with him; his record is really good, and he can improve.

“With no penalties [among his 16 goals so far], it’s amazing too because normally the other guys who are top scorers score a lot of penalties. He had one penalty in 17 Premier League matches, so I couldn’t be happier with him.

“I’m really happy for him because maybe some people think he’s not a top scorer any more at 35 years old, not anymore because the Premier League is not La Liga, but 35 for him is the same as 25. In La Liga, it’s the same as in the Premier League – he plays well, he scores goals and I’m very happy for him.”

Ever since Sir Ferguson left as coach, other subsequent coaches are finding difficulties in planting a goal-scoring monster in front of attack to score goals on a regular basis- a monster like Robin Van Persie.

Well, it seem Mourinho has been able to get one again for the reds at Old Trafford in the person of huge Zlatan Ibrahimovic. An unpredictable goal-scoring machine who can score goals to give the victory. United fans hopes the Swede would continue impressing them for a long time.
