Better than Bailly? Man Utd to raid player with £50m

Man Utd open talks for £50 million Germany international after defeat to Bayern Munich.

English football club, Manchester United suffered another huge defeat in the hands of Bundesliga team, Bayern Munich in the preseason games.

The match which ended in a 1 to nothing victory for Bayern Munich had seen Manchester United make a further move for Germany international, Jerome Boateng.

The Red Devils were reportedly hoping to sign the Boateng as a new defender but yesterday defeat to Bayern Munich have made them go a step further.

Man United are willing to pay Bayern Munich the sum of £50 million for the player and on the other hand, the German club are ready to accept the bid at that amount.

Jerome Boateng is one of the most well-known defenders in the world having made a huge record for himself, he may, however, be on his way to Old Trafford before Thursday.

Apart from Boateng, the Red Devils are linked with moves for other defenders which include Harry Maguire, Toby and Yerry Mina but not a single of them have been signed.

Jose Mourinho wants to strengthen the Manchester United defense before the start of a new season with Eric Bailey likely to be the only player that may survive the change that is about to come.
