Here Is What Liverpool Will Do With Phillipe Coutinho’s Funds

Liverpool and Brazilian superstar Phillipe Coutinho is on the verge of completing his move to Barcelona, and there are speculations an announcement should be made before next week.

The Merseyside club have decided to allow the samba playmaker leave Anfield this month, and are expected to receive a fee in the region of £145m for Countiho’s signature.

And according to reports, the Anfield club intend using part of the funds to sign a superb goalkeeper to solve one of the eminent problems currently in Jurgen Klopp’s team.

The Independent made it known that Liverpool are already making plans to reinvest some of the money Barca will pay for Countiho’s signature to sign Atletico’s Jan Oblak.

The current goalkeepers at Anfield haven’t been impressive in recent times, and while Klopp will be bringing a new shot-stopper into his team, the German manager is also expected to sign a direct replacement for Philippe.

Liverpool have identified Frenchman Thomas Lemar as their No.1 target, and they have also been linked with Riyad Mahrez too.

Liverpool are eyeing Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak who is with a release clause of £100M.

It was also added that Brazil No. 1 goalie Alisson and Stoke City’s Jack Butland are also been watched by Jurgen Klopp’s side.
