Merseyside giants Liverpool are holding firm on their stance not to sell Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho, but some Barcelona fans feel they have already signed the Brazilian.

La Liga giants FC Barcelona have made a public offer for Coutinho but have seen three offers rejected.

The latest bid, worth around £118million offer, would have broken the world transfer record had Brazilian Neymar Jr not been sold to big spending Ligue 1 side PSG for £200m earlier this summer transfer window.

The Reds are keen to keep the Barcelona target even though the Brazilian has submitted a transfer request.

But a Barcelona fan believes the transfer deal will be completed before the transfer window slams shut.

The fan was spotted by Mundo Deportivo putting on a Barcelona away jersey with ‘Coutinho 11’ boldly written on the back before kick off in their Spanish La Liga clash with Real Betis.

Paris Saint Germain forward Neymar vacated the No 11 Jersey when he moved to the Ligue 1 club.

The Spanish outlet claim Barcelona won’t give up the battle to sign Coutinho, with 12 days of the transfer window left.

Barcelona laid on tributes at the Camp Nou for the terror attack victims this week.

Over 56,000 supporters stormed the Stadium for the match – Barcelona’s first match of the new Spanish La Liga season.

Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde had hoped to have had Brazilian Coutinho in his squad by now, with their chase hotting up ever since Neymar Jr left for PSG.
