RB Leipzig star player Naby Keita will move to Anfield next year, and Liverpool playmaker Sadio Mane has revealed that he spoke to the Guinean about a move to the English top flight.

The Merseyside club have already agreed a club-record £48 million deal with Keita’s side, and the talented African will join Liverpool at the end of this term.

Sadio and Naby played together at RB Salzburg for a brief period before the Senegal forward moved to St Mary’s in 2014 to play for Southampton. But the duo have maintained a cordial relationship since then, and the Senegalese has promised to help the Guinean’s transition to the English top flight when he arrives next year.

Speaking recently about Keita In an interview with Goal, Mane hailed his African counterpart as ‘a really special player’ who he enjoys watching play on the pitch.

He also admitted he regards Naby as a family after their relationship at Salzburg, and how he told him about how Liverpool is an amazing club with talented players and ‘a great manager’

“[I] look forward to helping him again when he comes [to England] next year.” Sadio added.

Keita was very much impressive at RB Leipzig last season and played a crucial role in helping them get a Champions League ticket for this campaign.
