According to reports, Arsenal have offered Chelsea target Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a new four-year contract, worth around £125,000-weekly, with the North London club desperate to keep hold of the versatile midfielder.

As per the Daily Star, Arsenal are sure Oxlade will pen the new and improved deal, as the attacker is now in the last 12 months of his current contract.

The Englishman has reportedly attracted interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea, with Italian tactician Antonio Conte willing to offer him a starting shirt in the team at right wing-back.

However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sees the 24-year-old Chelsea target as a major part of the Gunner’s future.

The report also claims Oxlade has been tempted by Chelsea interest, although it is expected that he will extend his stay, after playing regularly in Arsene Wenger’s new formation.

The Daily Star, however, are less sure about the futures of Chilean Alexis Sanchez and Shkodran Mustafi.

The publication feels that rivals Manchester City remain confident of signing Sanchez in a deal worth around £60 million and feel the Gunners would cash in on Mustafi to Serie A giants Inter Milan if the club offer £35m for the German.

Arsenal looks like they will be busy as they try to seal some deals, with time running out in the summer transfer market.

The North London club still need to sell several stars from an expanded squad while interest in Chilean Sanchez, German Mustafi, and English Oxlade-Chamberlain looks set to linger on for now.
