Liverpool Demand £15m For Defensive Outcast

Merseyside giants Liverpool want £15m for defender Nathaniel Clyne who’s attracting the interest of several clubs this summer.

This is according to the publication from Sky Sports which claimed that the Reds won’t entertain any offers for the England international right-back unless it’s at least £15m.

Nathaniel Clyne is deemed to be surplus to requirements at Liverpool who won’t mind selling the 28-year-old this summer.

The lack of first team opportunities prompted him to secure a loan move to Bournemouth during the second half of the just concluded campaign.

Nathaniel Clyne made 15 appearances for the Cherries during that period after they won the right to sign him ahead of relegated club Cardiff City.

The Welsh club didn’t sign him on loan during the winter transfer window like they wanted and that ultimately played a little part in their relegation from the Premier League at the end of the last campaign.

Apart from the fact that Bournemouth want to sign the player permanently, former club Crystal Palace and West Ham United are also interested in the Liverpool full-back.

Nathaniel Clyne was a Crystal Palace player before he signed for fellow Premier League club Southampton.

Apart from the aforementioned Premier League clubs, Clyne has also been linked with Italian Serie A giants Napoli.
