Liverpool given the advantage as two Tottenham Hotspur stars suffers injury

Tottenham Hotspur will be hosting Liverpool on Saturday at Wembley Stadium as the English Premier League returns in style.

However, Tottenham Hotspur have suffered two injuries as they prepare to take on the Reds.

According to report, Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and England international Dele Alli will be missing in action against Liverpool.

Hugo Lloris was out of form for Tottenham Hotspur prior to the international holiday break as he didn’t play in the unexpected defeat to Watford.

Report made it known that the goalkeeper will be out for several weeks following a thigh injury.

On the other hand, England international and Liverpool top player, Dele Alli suffered a hamstring during training which will see him miss the match against the Reds but will be back ahead of Tottenham Hotspur match against Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League.

This latest development at Tottenham is an advantage for Jurgen Klopp led Liverpool squad to get their fifth win on Saturday.

Tottenham was hoping to make a come back after they lost to Watford in their last game but as it stands now, they will have to play without Hugo Lloris and Dele Alli.
