It might be a surprise but this star could leave Arsenal

There are still chances that North London outfit Arsenal will part ways with German international Mesut Ozil in this summer transfer window.

A section of supporters and pundits are still unsatisfied with his performance in the just-concluded season, stressing that the Gunners should do well by parting ways with him.

Piers Morgan is the latest to call on the North London outfit to show the former Real Madrid star the exit door at the Emirates Stadium.

Speaking to talkSPORT, the TV presenter said that Arsenal manager Unai Emery has got a lot of work to do to keep the team on track and that will include doing away with about five players that have not been effective in the team.

He stressed that the former PSG boss must begin with the German international. According to him, Mesut Ozil earns £350,000-a-week but has been lazy, not giving enough to help the team.

However, there are suggestions that Spanish manager Unai Emery is unhappy with the performance of the World Cup winner and will be glad to see him leave the club.

Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil has not been thinking of exiting the Emirates Stadium as he has made apparent a number of times his willingness to stay at the club and fight for playing time.
