Deal Done! Prolific Lethal Striker Asks For Chelsea Transfer

Former Champions League winners Chelsea have been boosted by the news that experienced striker Gonzalo Higuain has requested for a transfer to the club.
The AC Milan striker has asked to join Chelsea in the upcoming January transfer market according to reports emanating from Italy.

Sport Mediaset claim that the 31-year-old wants a reunion with Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri ahead of the second half of the season.

Higuain and Sarri worked together at Italian Serie A giants Napoli for one season.

Both parties were key members of the Napoli team during the 2015/16 season.

Argentine international star Gonzalo Higuain netted a record-breaking 36 league goals during that season before he joined Juventus in a controversial manner.

It was the debut season for Sarri as the Napoli manager and the Italian tactician was not happy that Higuain joined rivals Juventus in 2016.

Recent reports had claimed that Higuain will move to Chelsea in a swap deal with fellow striker Alvaro Morata.
Gonzalo Higuain has struggled to score consistently for AC Milan since his loan move from Juventus.

He has scored just two goals in his last 10 appearances for AC Milan.

Chelsea might need to buy out his loan contract with Milan to secure his transfer.
