Again! Fulham Agree Deal To Sign Chelsea Defender

Struggling Premier League side Fulham have agreed on a deal to sign experienced Chelsea defender Gary Cahill according to various media reports.

Sky Sports claim that the recently retired England international centre back will move across West London to join Premier League relegation candidates Fulham after the two clubs reached an agreement for his transfer.

The 33-year-old had previously been linked with other Premier League sides like Arsenal and Manchester United but it seems like he will link up with ex-Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri at the Craven Cottage.

2015/16 Premier League title-winning manager Claudio Ranieri was appointed the Fulham manager towards the end of last year after Slavisa Jokanovic was sacked by the Cottagers following a disastrous start to the current Premier League season.

Fulham have the worst defensive record in the Premier League this season and Gary Chill is expected to add defensive stability to the Fulham defence as they try to avoid relegation at the end of the season.

The Cottagers are the second bottom on the league table with just 14 points after 22 games in this season’s Premier League.

Gary Cahill has six months left on his current deal with Chelsea and he’s now expected to spend that duration with West London rivals Fulham.
