Finally, date announced for Liverpool and Chelsea league cup match

The fixtures of the  League cup had been announced weeks ago with one of the prominent matches being between Liverpool and Chelsea.

While the tournament organizers had fixed the charges and the venue for the matches, the date were left unfixed until today.

However, new report have made it known that the date for the match between Liverpool and Chelsea has been officially announced.

The match according to schedule will take place on the 23rd of September, three days before the match between Liverpool and Chelsea in the EPL.

The third round of the tournament will be played at Anfield.

However, Liverpool fans are happy over how the Reds have fixed the match ticket pricing as the most expensive price is set at £30 and the cheapest adult ticket is sold at £9.

Liverpool were close to winning the League cup last season before they were kicked out by Leicester City.

The match is expected to be tasking for the Reds owing to the fact that they will be facing difficult teams immediately after the international holiday.

However, The likes of Xherdan Shaqiri, Fabinho, Daniel Sturridge and Nathaniel Clyne are likely to start, this will be a blessing in disguise for Liverpool fans.
