The end of Petr Cech could be near with Unai’s claim on Leno

One of the reasons why Unai Emery has been asked to step down his new playing style at Arsenal is because of the shaky performance by Petr Cech in the previous games.

Emery who took charge at the summer, introduced a new style of play to the Arsenal players which requires them to build an attack from behind, a development that almost cost the team on several occasions due to Cech’s blunders.

The former Chelsea goalkeeper had even admitted that he made certain errors but stated that the effect it would have had has been covered by the wins in those games.

However, following the 2-1 victory at Newcastle, Emery hinted that the new Arsenal recruit, Bernd Leno could be handed his debut in Thursday’s Europa League tie against FC Vorskla.

Leno was Signed from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer and was predicted to take charge of the goal pole following last season’s errors committed by Cech but he is yet to see any competitive game at the club and has been limited to the bench.

With a Europa game expected on Thursday, Emery admitted that there could be lots of changes in his selection which could affect the goalkeeping department.

He, however, stated that the best would be asked to execute the game.
