French Star Ready To Leave His Club, Chelsea To Swap Him With Zouma

According to news coming from France, premier league champions Chelsea have expressed an interest in Lyon’s star player Corentin Tolisso.

French news outlet L’Equipe as reported that Tolisso could be acquired in exchange for Chelsea youngster Kurt Zouma.

It was however added that Chelsea are not the only club interested in the midfielder, but other clubs like Juventus are also monitoring his activities at his French club. It is also understood that the France international is not going for anything less than €40 Million, and the price has driven away many clubs.

The Frenchman himself has made some statements about wanting to leave Lyon and how he is planning his exit this summer.

Tolisso noted that he wanted to play for Lyon last summer because they would have played the Champions League in a new stadium and he thought the team was good enough for his ambitions. However, he is ready to leave the club and is ready to evaluate any offer received with his advisors.

Chelsea won the Premier League title in an impressive well-deserved campaign at Antonio Conte’s first season at the West London club and in England. Despite having a superb squad, the former Juventus boss is keen on bolstering his team ahead of a busy campaign next season.
