English Premier League (EPL) leaders Chelsea, who have won their last eight league games, and fellow London side Arsenal have been linked with Corentin Tolisso, a midfielder with French side Olympique Lyon, for a very long time however if reports coming out of Italy is anything to go by the 27-year old may be on his way to Turin to link up with Italian Serie A champions Juventus despite the strong interest from the previously mentioned English clubs.
Tolisso has been in sparkling form this season for his French side having weighed in with seven goals and three assists in all competitions prompting interest from some of the European heavyweights with the start of the January transfer window some few weeks away.
Italian media outlet Tuttosport had already stated that Maximiliano Allegri and Juventus are ready to offer Gabon midfielder Mario Lemina and €15m to secure the services of Tolisso earlier this month and this has been corroborated by English news outlet Talksport adding that the Italian side are now in pole position ahead of Chelsea and Arsenal.
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea and their popular owner Roman Abramovich will be able to resist the challenges of both Juventus and Arsenal in a bid to their transfer target.
