Transfer Fee Agreed! Chelsea agree fee to complete second January transfer – Report

According to reports in the British media, Chelsea have agreed to a transfer fee with AS Roma to land Edin Dzeko in the winter transfer window.

According to Metro, the Blues have been in negotiations with the Italian outfit about bringing in the 31-year-old forward this month.

The same report suggests that the Blues have reportedly agreed a “basic transfer fee” of £28million with AS Roma for the ex-Manchester City forward as manager Antonio Conte looks to strengthen his strike-force this New Year.

The story also suggests that talks between the two sides are ongoing and that the former Premier League striker’s transfer to the Blues is likely to cost the reigning Champions upwards of £30million in the end.

The same article also states that the Blues are close to sealing the signature of Edin Dzeko’s AS Roma colleague Emerson Palmieri.

The Blues have been busy in the winter transfer window after having sealed the signing of England midfielder Ross Barkley from Merseyside club Everton on a long-term deal at the turn of the New Year.

Meanwhile, the former Juventus manager is currently preparing his team for the return leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final encounter against City rivals Arsenal at The Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
