Chelsea Eyeing 11-Goal Player As Hazard Replacement

Former Champions League winners Chelsea are plotting a possible swoop for Everton forward Richarlison if star player Eden Hazard leaves the club at the end of this season according to British media reports.

The Daily Mail claim that the Blues are monitoring the situation of Richarlison at Goodison Park.

Brazilian international Richarlison swapped London club Watford for Everton at the start of this season after the Toffees paid £40m for his transfer although the deal could rise to £50m depending on add-ons.

Since his move to Everton last summer, Richarlison has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 27 games with ten of those goals coming in the Premier League (PL).

The 21-year-old has already shown his versatility for Everton this season as he can play in any of the forward positions.

He could be the man to replace Real Madrid-linked Chelsea star, Eden Hazard.

The Belgian international player is on course to join the European champions after failing to commit his long-term future to West London giants Chelsea.

The 27-year-old has less than 18 months left on his current contract with the Blues meaning that Real Madrid can get him for a cut-price deal in the summer.

Reports still claim that Real Madrid have to pay at least £100m to sign him.
