Odoi is in his final phase of contract at the Stamford Bridge and in 18 months he will unofficially be able to move on a free if he a new deal is not given at the Blues he might be on his way to Bayern where he is subject of a £30million offer.

The West London club are my ready to let Hudson-Odoi leave, but he is keen for more game time having played just 42 minutes in the Premier League under Maurizio Sarri.

And when the German champions boss was questioned about Bayern’s potential interest in the youngster, he was quoted to have emphasized that he has no reservations about giving young players their chance to shine.‘If a young player is good, his age does not matter to me. We are looking for young talents who can bring us things immediately.’ He continued: ‘He is the same age as [Jadon] Sancho, who has been very successful.

‘That we all know and watch these players is completely normal. If and when anything happens, it will be [Salihamidzic] who does that. He is in charge of transfers.’
