Pot 1 is meant for Football clubs that have once lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy.
Apart from Liverpool, other English club who made it to this season Champion League are Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
While the duo of Arsenal and Chelsea will be playing in the Europa league this season.
