Arsene Wenger 70% close to being announced as manager

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been alleged to be close to being announced as a new manager, according to trusted media outlets.

According to the report, the French boss is 70% close to being announced as the new boss at Italian Serie A giants AC Milan, adding that an agreement has already been reached through the influence of former Gunners CEO Ivan Gazidis.

This, therefore, means that the former Gunners boss will replace Gennaro Gattuso who has not impressed on the job by not delivering good results at San Siro.

However, Wenger has been jobless since `leaving the Emirates Stadium in the summer as he opted to remain out of job until now to have his holiday.

The French boss is regarded as the most successful Arsenal manager in the club’s history which gives him rich credentials to take over at the San Siro.

Wenger will also be handed some financial support to make some signings in the winter transfer market with his former player Cesc Fabregas as the major target from Chelsea.

Meanwhile, reports claim that Milan are keen on having a new manager as they can no longer trust Gattuso, hence they will go all out for a new manager should Wenger turn down their offer.
