Arsenal monitoring 10 goal striker

North London side Arsenal are believed to be monitoring Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder in a bid to have him join the club as early as in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming months.

Wissam Ben Yedder was recommended by the Arsenal scouting team having been watched a number of times this season and have shown impressive performance and character on the pitch.

The North London side are short of attackers with English striker Danny Welbeck currently unavailable as a result of an injury that would have him stay away from the playing for a while.

The Express reports that Gunners boss Unai Emery has been keeping tab on the 28-year-old and is ready to meet with his asking price to have him join the club in the winter window.

So far this season, Wissam Ben Yedder has scored a total of 10 goals under his belt in addition to the 5 assists on goal he has contributed in 17 games.

Wissam Ben Yedder was earlier thought he would have a switch to Arsenal in 2016 but that did not happen as he joined Spanish La Liga side, Sevilla.

Suggestions are that the Spanish side will be willing to cash in on the player if the right offer is tabled.
