Arsenal get major advantage against Man United

North London outfit Arsenal have been handed major news which remains an advantage to the team with reports that Man United will be incomplete in the Sunday clash.

It has been confirmed that the Red Devils will be without two major players, Alexis Sanchez and Juan Mata in the game.

The Red Devils would have loved to have Alexis Sanchez in the Sunday clash but he will not be available as he is yet to see out the 8 weeks sideline that has been spelled out for him.

Alexis Sanchez was forced out during Manchester United’s 3-2 win against Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday.

There is no doubt that the star player will be a big miss for the Red Devils against his former club with United’s interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lamenting that Alexis Sanchez will not be available to face Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal as a result of a suspected knee ligament issue.

Sanchez had gone through a scan on Sunday where it was confirmed that he would be absent.

However, it is unsure if Juan Mata will be available for the clash as well after he confirmed in his own website that he would not be available for two games as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

Arsenal and Man United are both in the race for a top-four finish as they hope to play in the Champions League next season.
