Liverpool defender Andy Robertson led his country to their first win in their Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Andy Robertson was the captain of Scotland who recorded their first victory, making them qualifiers with a 2-0 win over San Marino on Sunday.
The Liverpool left-back was on for the duration of the game as he helped Scotland keep a clean sheet.
Scotland were able to bounce back from the shocking 3-0 defeat at the hands of Kazakhstan in what was their first game in the qualifiers.
The Scotland players including Andy Robertson were heavily criticised after the Kazakhstan defeat but they were able to respond with a straightforward victory over San Marino.
Scotland took the lead as early as the 4th minute through Norwich City midfielder Kenny McLean before Johnny Russell wrapped up the win in the 74th minute for his team.
Despite the win, Scotland remain in fifth position on the table in Group I but they now have the same point as Russia (3 points) in the race to qualify for the 2020 European Championship.
The top two teams from each group qualify automatically for the tournament.
Scotland will play their next game in the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Cyprus at home.
It’s their first match at home after two away games at the start of the qualifiers.
