According to new reports coming from the English media, Chilean star player Alexis Sanchez is set to undergo his medical at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Sanchez was initially set to be included in the Arsenal squad clashing with Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium this weekend, but it seems the 29-year-old has played his final game for the North Londoners.
The Daily Mirror made it known recently that Sanchez left the team hotel at around 11 pm yesterday, and he is bound to join Manchester United before the coming week.
Armenian star player Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to move to the Emirates Stadium to replace Alexis at North London, and manager Arsene Wenger believes the former Borussia Dortmund playmaker will complete his move to Arsenal.
Herinkh has fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford despite starting the season impressively. But Arsene Wenger believes the Armenian will flourish at London.
Arsenal are also set to complete a deal for Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The African superstar was dropped for his side’s clash against Hertha Berlin last night.
On the other hand, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has recently suggested he won’t be splashing huge cash to sign other attackers this summer after landing Sanchez this month. The club have been linked with the likes of Gareth Bale and Antoine Griezmann in recent times.
