Arsenal manager had earlier made the plans of the club secrete on the expectations ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

But with latest developments, he has admitted that a number of signings could be done especially in the defensive department to help strengthen his side.

The Gunners team have made good progress this season, losing three games in all with the last being the 3-2 defeat to Southampton at St Mary last weekend but they have been advised by pundits to have more additions in the team.

The North London side are fifth in the Premier League table with three points to the fourth place held by West London side Chelsea.

However, the Gunners side have been hit with a number of injuries as they are now without Rob Holding, Danny Welbeck and Kostantinos Mavropanos due to serious injury.

Manager Unai Emery has now come out to state that the club is working to ensure the squad is strengthened in the coming winter transfer window while noting that his players have been doing good and he is happy with them at the moment.

The former PSG boss therefore stated that should there be a good opportunity, the club will do some business.
