Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has claimed that he does not plan to hand any player rest ahead of the Red’s crucial encounter with rivals Manchester United clash on Saturday.
Champions League tie ahead
The Reds are currently preparing for their crucial encounter against Portuguese side FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening at Anfield Stadium as they bid to seal their spot in the quarter-finals.
They are firmly in control of the encounter after having defeated the Portuguese club 5-0 in the first leg away from home last month.
With the Merseyside giants seemingly all but through to the next round, there have inevitably been claims that Jurgen Klopp could use Today’s match as an opportunity to rest some of his top stars ahead of their visit to Old Trafford in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Klopp has different plans
However, the Klopp has said that is not part of his plan as he gets his team prepared for the encounter against Porto on Tuesday night.
The Reds continued their solid form in the English Premier League on Saturday when they won 2-0 against Newcastle United at Anfield Stadium.
The Merseyside giants are aiming to end up in the top four position for the second campaign running under Jurgen Klopp this season.
