According to British media reports, Chelsea FC are considering making a huge money double transfer move for AS Roma duo Edin Dzeko and defender Emerson Palmieri this January transfer window.
The Daily Star is stating that Chelsea are keen on signing both the forward and the left full-back as manager Antonio Conte edge closer to bringing in his second and third winter signings.
The Blues have already been so busy this window and sealed the signature of England international Ross Barkley earlier in the month.
However, it seems that Antonio Conte is keen on further strengthening his team, with the report suggesting that a new defender and forward are both priorities for the Chelsea manager.
The same story says the Serie A giants value the former Manchester City forward at about £57million, and defender Palmieri at about £20million.
It is also suggested in the same report that the former Juventus manager would be open to allowing Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi join the Italian side on loan as part of the transfer deal.
The 31-year-old has netted nine goals and provided three assists in 19 Italian Serie A matches for AS Roma so far this campaign.
Meanwhile, Chelsea on Saturday returned to winning ways with a 4-0 win over Brighton in the Premier League.
